Welcome to St Nicholas Catholic Primary School A very warm welcome from all at St. Nicholas Catholic Primary School. If you are just visiting our site out of curiosity I hope you find it interesting. If you are an existing parent I hope it helps to keep you up to date and if you are a prospective parent I hope it provides you with something of a flavour of our school. If it poses questions please feel free to contact us and we will only be too pleased to answer. Our aim at St. Nicholas is to provide all our children with the skills necessary to be active members of their communities, where ever they might be, to continually develop and be life long learners. We want to provide them with the abilities to get the most out of life whilst remembering that as we live our lives based on Gospel values, we are here to serve each other using our gifts to support and provide for others in their need. This must all happen in a spirit of partnership with all who see our children as ‘precious gifts’. This school is a very special place to learn – many have described it as an ‘oasis’ in a very busy world. It is somewhere where children feel safe, secure and loved for who they are.
