Advent
Advent is a special time at St.Nicholas, in which we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. In School, our daily worships focus around the lighting of the Advent wreath, discussing and reflecting on the symbolism of each colour and candle. Our Chaplaincy team deliver the travelling cribs to each classroom, giving each child the opportunity to take it home for an evening. The travelling crib gives children and families the resources to share their own small worship at home, to focus on what is important in the midst of busy preparations for the weeks ahead.
